I am not a fan of naming conventions. I find them annoying, and not useful beyond the first pass of naming things you already have, but alas there are people who think you should be defined by your name, thus here come the naming conventions. Give me a good database or directory any day over this. For those of you who have had to work on a naming convention then you know that Scott Adams got this one right.
